I just want to share with you about this “dumb crooks” that I’ve read from my cousin’s book Uncle John’s Absolutely absorbing bathroom reader. This book is very interesting because it has lots of stories! There’s humor, “creatures”, sports, politics,etc that are really interesting and not boring. It’s 500+ pages! A very thick interesting book! ^^~

Here’s three funny stories from the dumb crooks section..

DUMB & UNLUCKY

Mark Cason, 29, Decided to rob a local post office. He purchased gloves and a mask but forgot to put them on.. Mark took more than $15,000 worth of British pounds, but his arms were so full he could not open the post office door to leave. So he asked two children to hold the door for him. They did, and jotted down his car license number as he pulled into traffic. Mark promptly got stuck in a traffic jam, so he ran to a train station, where he caught a train to a nearby town. He checked into a hotel using a fake name and said to the clerk, “if the police ask for me, I’m not here”. He asked if he could put a large amount of money in the hotel safe.

When the police arrived, Mark told them his occupation was armed robber. He was sentenced to five years in prison.

Caught with his pants down

Knife-wielding James Boulder was caught in September 1993 when his pants fell down as he fled from a store in New Jerset that he’d just robbed. He than tripped over a fire hydrant and knocked himself out.

Righteously Indignant

A robbery suspect in a Los Angeles police lineup apparently just couldn’t control himself. When detectives asked each man in the lineup to repeat the words, “Give me all your money or I’ll shoot”, the man shouted “That’s not what I said!”

LOL The third one really made me laugh! It’s like the detectives had plan whole thing and he totally fell for it! XD It may be old news but it’s still funny and I’ve never heard about it ’til now! Man I can’t imagine that there are some crooks that are that dumb. No offense crooks! =D Well maybe it’s their first time robbing or something. lol
