Here’s a good news for all cellphone users! A new study by the University of South Florida’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center says that cellphone radiation may protect or even reverse Alzheimer’s disease and it may also boost normal memory.
Before, they use to say that cellphone radiations can cause brain tumor, bone density, dizziness, headache, cancer, bla bla bla. Did you believe that? Well, I didn’t. I wonder who started that whole thing? Poor cellphones. They got blamed for something that they didn’t do.
University of South Florida’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center tested about 96 mice inside their cage — most were genetically engineered to develop Alzheimer’s disease, and some with normal brains – and arranged them in a circle around a central antenna that emitted electromagnetic waves. They were exposed 2 hours a day over seven to nine months.
The researchers found that the memory problems of the older Alzheimer’s mice disappeared over the course of the study. Younger Alzheimer’s mice who were asymptomatic maintained their cognitive function, and the normal mice actually got a memory boost from the cellphone antenna.
Lead author Gary Arendash says “it surprised us to find that cell phone exposure, begun in early adulthood, protects the memory of mice otherwise destined to develop Alzheimer’s symptoms.” What’s more is electromagnetic waves generated by cellphones actually reversed memory loss in old Alzheimer’s mice.
This is very interesting! Hmmm, but my memory is still not that good, so should I expose myself to more radiation? LOL Kidding. Well I’m hoping that this true, because I know a lot of us are cellphone addicts, and we don’t want to have Alzheimer’s disease, don’t we?
What do you think?

That’s pretty awesome but I wouldn’t relate a mouse’s memory to a human’s lol. I don’t like when scientists test on animals, even mice, because although humans are animals as well, we have much more developed brains and we might not work the same way these little rodents do. Lady(Quote)

That’s kind of interesting! My mom used to warn me not to place my cellphone by my head while I sleep since it might damage my brain through the radiation and stuff. Thanks for the info

I find that odd considering how MythBusters proved that two cell phones placed on either side of an egg and left on (calling each other) cooked the egg in about 30-45 minutes. D:
So, after seeing that I’m too paranoid to trust any new research until they have something solid from that, that can prove a health increase as opposed to what was originally thought before. Milktan(Quote)
