MOVIE REVIEW : Tekken (2010)

The movie was about Jin Kazama wanting to join the Iron Fist Tournament to avenge the death of his mother. The movie wasn’t that bad but it was a big disappointment for some people– and they did expected it to suck just like Dragonball and the rest of those game-turned-into-movie films.  Jin Kazama was played by Jon Foo, which in real life is a wushu martial artist.

The fighting and acting scenes in this movie were not that bad; the fighting moves were just fine and the costumes was perfect, but I wanted to see more action and more AWESOMENESS. I think the movie would have been better if they added more tekken fighters since I was expecting all of them to be in the movie but I guess that would be impossible since it would be hard to fit all of their story into one movie film.

MOVIE : The Blind Side

My mom, cousin and I watched The Blind Side yesterday. I thought the movie will be very boring, I almost slept while watching it. Well, even before seeing the movie, my eyes were feeling heavy because I woke up so early.

The movie is actually based on a true story. It is the story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American teenager who has drifted in and out of school. Then Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her husband, Sean (Tim McGraw) decided to take him in to be part of the Tuohy family. With the help of his new-found family, teachers, tutor and coach, he will realize his potential as a student and as a football player.

Movie: Planet 51

Planet 51 is actually similar to earth but instead of humans, it’s inhabited by little green aliens, reminiscent of 1950′s America. When American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker (Dwayne Johnson)  lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it, he suddenly stepped on a rubber duck toy and finds out that the planet is inhabited by little green creatures. While Chuck was being pursued by the alien military, he bumps into Lem, who will eventually be his friend, and will help him get into his spaceship before it leaves him in less than 48 hours.
