My cousin, Lisa and I went to my Uncle’s place the other day to visit our other cousin, Torj. We thought maybe we could have her come with us to go karaoke and eat some Japanese foods. But it turns out that we need to stay at her place to help her with her French exam for the next day. They have 2 parts for the exam; Part 1 was the take home exam and part 2 was to talk French in front of the class telling them about their self, family, career and future in 5-10 minutes. She told us that a lot of her classmates failed the class already that they have to take again the next semester. Actually, some of my friends during college also failed French and told us that it was really hard.

Everyone knows that I’m addicted to anime! If you don’t know what anime means or if you don’t watch any anime.. oh no! you’re missing the fun! You might want to check wikipedia for more Anime Information. Majority of my crushes are anime! So what is it about anime that makes me go gaga? Well, first, I love the way how they draw anime characters. Sometimes you wish that they were real — I do!!! Some of the story lines are very cute, especially comedy and romance genres! The only drama that I’ve watched is Peach Girl. I really cry whenever I get to watch it. I really don’t like drama because I cry easily. Yes, I’m very sensitive. Even reading a sad touching part in a manga makes me teary-eyed.

Mangosteen has been one of my favorite fruits ever since. The purple fruit, mangosteen, is technically known as “Garcinia mangostana“. It’s kinda like my other favorite fruit, “Lansones” or “lanzones” (Lansium domesticum),  except that the Lanzones is much more smaller and has a translucent white pulp. Anyway, last Sunday, my mom and I went to the mall. While we were at the bookstore looking for some health books, I saw a book about mangosteen and I read it for a while. I never knew that my favorite fruit is claimed to have several health benefits!

I know each and every one in the world wants to have their own car, whether it’s brand new or not, as long as they can use it as their mode of transportation for work, school, etc. Last 2 years ago, my mom and my two uncles were looking for a nice second hand SUV for me to use. I think last 3 months ago, they saw a Ford Explorer for sale around the neighborhood. They took it for a spin to see whether or not the engine is in a good condition. They drove around LA and decided to stop by in Los Angeles auto repair to let the “pros” check the car instead since they’re already there.

My Aunt, who is a doctor, and my cousin suggested me to take Diane 35 to control my acne breakout last summer, which was caused by hormonal imbalance. My cousin had an acne breakout when she came home from Taiwan two years ago; she was really desperate because graduation is 3 months away and pimples just keeps popping on her face. Of course, she consulted an OB Gynecologist which was one of her mom’s friends. Her face was acne-free after 2 months of taking Diane. Now, she only gets pimples before her period.

My cousin who loves cosmetics ordered the 88 color matte palette and 88 shimmer palette from BH cosmetics and it really looked good on her and recommended it to all of us. I’ve asked her if I could borrow hers for just one day because I have to go to a party and I only have a few cosmetics on my kit. When I tried it, I think it’s really an Amazing Eyeshadow and now my favorite! It’s very pigmented and long lasting. It’s made from Mica, which is the main ingredient for mineral cosmetics. Very good quality! I can’t wait to order mine! I still need a few bucks to buy 3 palettes. I’ll be buying one for my friend that loves makeup for her birthday. She’ll definitely love this one!

Conserving water not only means saving money, it will also help save our planet. Everyday, more and more humans are born in this planet. Our population is growing, yet our supplies are not. Actually, there are more than a hundred simple ways on how to conserve water. But here’a a tip: make sure that there are no leaks and switch to energy and water-efficient appliances.

You know, during the old times, people use rain water barrels to water their plants and wash their animals; they know how to value water. A lot of women also used soft rain water to rinse and wash their hair.

While we were at my Aunt’s place a while ago, I heard her and my Uncle talking about a good auto repair shop since her current one doesn’t seem to be that good and can’t fix some of her car problems. She doesn’t get her car a regular maintenance because of her busy schedule that she needs to make use of her cars everyday. My Uncle told her that it is very important to get a regular car maintenance to avoid future problems and accidents. He also told my Aunt about his friend that got into a car accident because there was something wrong with his break job and sadly, took his life.  That is why he always reminds everyone around him to make sure that their car is in a good condition before driving.

Hey! Summer is just around the corner! Do you know what that means? It means it’s time to go swimming! I’m sure a lot of people will be spending their summer vacation at the beach! So, have you bought yourself a new swim wear yet? My two cousins who loves going to the beach have already bought a lot of stuff for their summer vacation. I honestly hate the sun that’s why I prefer night swimming. I also know some people who doesn’t like going to crowded resorts.

I remember one of my friends told me about her experience 2 years ago in some resort with her whole family. While she was playing with her siblings in one of the pools, she saw a very dark stuff inside the pool.
